This is not good. I feel so bad for people affected by the current flooding in Laffy and places in Missouri and Arkansas. After being personally flooded out my own home for the 1000 year flood I'd rather not live through the next one. As bad as that sounds it's true bc it was such a devastating and detrimental time. People haven't finished rebuiding such as my dad and it's so hard on people. I must have PTSD after that flood. To this day I'm affected by it.

Yea my mom still is not back in her house. I know friends who've walked away. It's a tough time during any flash flooding event for them right now.

Not too bad so far for Covington...2.5 inches today. Just started coming down pretty hard at a 2" per hour rate.

That is an ugly roof

That is an LSU blend Ludowici tile roof which is on most campus buildings. The roof back right is the copper roof on the Cow Palace. Both roofs will have about a 50-70 year service life before needing rehabbing but not replacing.

Maybe if you live in a desert. I see trees when I look outside. When they move, it's windy.

You carry on.

Yes, you see the tree move because of the wind. You DON'T see the wind.
