If I need to drive from New Orleans to Baton Rouge tonight around 11-midnight, how screwed am I likely to be?

Storms will spread northward with the warm front this afternoon. The warm front has not lifted north as fast as expected.

Legit hail. Yikes. Some of it looks like the size of a fist. You can see it tearing up the leaves and smaller branches as it falls.

Due to the high temperature gradient today, yeah. Just like when a cold front moves into an area with higher temps/dew points, same happens when a warm front moves into and area with lower temps/dew points.
