Looks to be very weak if even touching ground.

Some very impressive rainfall rates entering Gonzales area. 3-5" per hour

You're lucky I'm browsing flightaware in my spare time right now . Only delays I see are for MSY-Dallas due to the storms causing reroutes way up over arkansas or into the gulf, everything has been getting in/out as of now.

Northern Terrebonne Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
Northwestern Lafourche Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
Central Assumption Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 115 PM CDT

* At 1228 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bayou
Geneve, or near Stephensville, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
Thibodaux, Schriever, Supreme, Labadieville, Chackbay and Bayou
Geneve.

It's going down in Lafayette right now. Roads are flooded, schools are closing, businesses are closing, and it doesn't look like it's stopping soon.
