Only recently found out I have two family members molested by a local Catholic priest.
Only thing I have is you never trust your kids with any adult.

My Baptist preacher, Charles E Bennett, molested me in Crowley La. Long ago. He was sent to Zachery, I believe. To hide. And perhaps do further damage to others. Back then, they weren’t arrested. They were protected.

I am sure he preaches that people make mistakes in life and that you have to ask for forgiveness. And the devil will try to bring you down by using those actions to distract people from god's word. That's a tough one because you need to have some people on board. People like that have huge egos and will do everything they can to steer people away from their past. Ask people in his church... "why do you not care that he is a molester?" Tell them that you prayed on it and god told you that its your job to inform people and protect the kids. That will counter the whole "he has asked for forgiveness.. and we must forgive as well". If they question you then ask them why good steered you in the direction to make sure he is no longer in a position where he can harm kids. You have to use their logical to reason with them.
And if they are still in support of him, ask them if they will feel guilty if he harms another kid. Give them a question to think about when they are laying down for the night.

It seems like 85-90% of this board can't be bothered to actually read the threads they respond to.
I suppose this is a byproduct of today's instant gratification society.

So, I found the post on facebook where he was ordained as an Elder and eventually put over the youth, and it’s linked directly to the church’s facebook page. And there is one about the realtor he used to purchase his farm in Kentucky.

If you read all of the articles, then look at his complimentary Facebook post to the local realtor, he’s instantly trying to establish legitimacy and credibility here, while fleeing under a cloud of suspicion buying a farm in Kentucky sight unseen.
IMO, these are two great places for people outside of the community to post the articles from Colorado, and ask how he was able to get back in the position he’s in, and ask how the 5 Molested kids in Colorado feel about him being ordained as a Pastor at a Church that has a Father Son combo of State Senator and Family Lawyer and represents the church as legal counsel listed on their website.
