What brand is the boat shoe from Maine? I

Not to be a nit picky a-hole but it’s a camp moc

For real though, it’s Rancourt & Co, they make true moccasins and they are comfortable as frick once broken in.

ETA: chromexcel stretches, so you may be able to go a half size down, but I went with my typical sneaker size and it was fine. I wear them year round and with thick wool socks I don’t know how the fit would be if I sized down a half size, but in the summer with no socks they are a tad loose (no blisters and still comfortable though).

Thanks! I’ll always call them the topsider or boat shoe as Mr. Sherry designed them in his patent in the 1930’s for use on boats!

I think I’m up to 7 pairs now. Love them.

For work & around the house Solomon’s or Belleville’s, for normal morning run cloud runner, for sprints brooks hyperion tempo, for longer runs supcony endorphin series with speed roll, for gym and walk around and swimming a pair of chucks, I’m lucky myself in the arse for not buying a few pairs of merrells during the outlet sale a few weeks ago.

My point wasn’t to be an a-hole, there is a slight difference between a boat shoe and a camp moc. A camp moc is essentially a loafer with a single eyelet tie over the vamp, where as a boat shoe has quarter panels with usually 2 or more eyelets. The camp moc was also designed in the 1930’s but by LL Bean.

I wear a lot of Cole Haan’s, if for no other reasoning than they feel amazing on my feet, look stylish, and last. I’m pretty sold on them as go to shoe or boot.

Right now, I alternate between Birkenstocks, Tevas, a pair of Clark Chukkas, Ariat square toes, Sperry deck shoes and some Hey Dude slip ons. I've got a pair of knockaround drivers I like, but I can't remember the brand.

That fricker with the beard, blue shirt and New Balance shoes posts here. No doubt in my mind

I would tend to agree, but his new balance shoes aren’t white and he’s wearing a Panama style hat, instead of a camouflage visor.
