I have two boys age 2 and 4. Their mother let them watch this demonic show Gabby’s Dollhouse on Netflix and now they’re completely obsessed with it. It’s a girls show about magical cupcakes and shite. What do I do in this situation?

Be a fricking man and take control of your house.

Don’t worry, at 4 the boy tolerated it, by 5 he was complaining, at 6 he just walks away and complains to me. His 8/3 yo sisters watch the crap.

Get some octonauts or transformers rescue bots on the tv

my 3yo boy watched that shite for a few weeks and my little pony. I was weirded out a tad but it passed quickly. Fairly confident it will be ok...

Yep I bought the original cartoon series for my boys, and Sonic. Also Paw Patrol is solid. Turn off the Netflix.

Tie their asses down to a chair and make them watch this at least six times in a row.

In all sincerity, I would not have let my son make a habit of watching a show for little girls. A few times, no problem.
But, little boys should watch shows for little boys.
Call me old fashioned, or whatever.
Let em consistently watch show made to entertain girls.... He isn't a girl

Introduce them to 1990's WWF wrestling. That should act as a good counter-balance.

There are worse shows to watch on Netflix. It is fanciful and full of color. My 5 yo girl watches it.

The older boy will sit and watch it if he is bored.

Watching “girl” stuff at that age is not a big deal. They like stupid shite. Both genders at an early age.

Buy them a football, a bb gun, and some fireworks. Dont let them come inside during the day unless they have homework or its raining. If there's ever a time to be a transcendentalist, its when raising boys. Let the great outdoors mold them into men and don't let the filth on tv mold them into weaklings.

At 2 & 4, this is the solution. They will go through favorite shows every few weeks/months. If you are that concerned that they won't catch on to any shows you try, buy the associated toys and let them play with them for 1-2 days then just happen to put on the show while they have the toys
