Sounds like he’s probably not nearly as good as he claims to be. Very common in the rec golf world

What shitty courses are you playing at?

$45 an hour from 5pm to close. shite is expensive. Especially considering I can’t sneak a cooler in my cart at top golf.

It's really not bad at night which is what I would figure are the peak times for topgolf (7-till)

It would be a huge help if that shopping area's intersections weren't built by retards.

My office had an after-hours get together at Loft 18 in Metairie (virtual golf place). One of the guys in our company is a scratch golfer. I told him I was looking forward to watching him play. He said "I don't hit balls into screens" and never picked up a club the entire night."

I don't think they are going after golfers. They are going after people who want to eat, drink, and play games.

This is exactly what they're going for. I have a group of friends where I live now and we play golf most weekends. We may go to TopGolf once and be done forever.

I have a group of friends from back home who never play golf. We will probably hit up TopGolf 2-3 times each year just to hang out.

Yeah but you don’t alone. It’s like $10 per person a hour after splitting it.

I would rather play regular golf but that’s not what top golf is. Its a social thing.

Top golf is a fad that won’t last long. It’s a one and done kind of place. shite it costs almost as much as 18 at a real golf course.

It's really not that expensive to go play. So I don't know what in the world you are talking about.

You can put up to 8 people in a bay, right? That's like $35 a person for 6 hours of entertainment.

No, the same Tinseltown that Spinosa duped into moving to Perkins Rowe with the promise of paying off their lease at Siegen Marketplace (which he bailed on).

Completely agree that the intersection to that shopping center is funky as hell. They really need to modify it. Granted, that would cause a clusterfrick as far as traffic in that area.

Doesn't appear to cost any more than bowling. I'ma take the kids for sure. One will most definitely test the safety nets.

I'll be there with my supermodel wife for opening weekend in my lifted F-250. Anyone who wants to fight and take some golf lessons from me can drop me an email.

I used to go to the one here in DC all the time, but they moved it way out into the burbs and frick that drive. It's fun if you don't golf all the time, but it can get pricey if you keep ordering beers and food. The balls get beat up so don't expect to be hitting perfect shots all the time, but they're decent enough to hit the huge targets most of the time. If any of you guys are military they do great discounts (or used to?). Military monday was like 2 dollar drafts and it averaged to like $2.50 a game to play, used to hang there all night and not spend more than 30-40 bucks.

This happen when I went to the TopGolf in Austin last year. The only issue with the safety net involved a kid.
