I wouldn't expect a high schooler to connect with a show that (at that time) was about a young middle schooler. Yall don't have anything in common with each other.
As S and others said, this show made a permanent mark on kids that were around Corey's age at the time, which makes sense.

I was born in 91. Like many others, I watched it on syndication on Disney channel. It became my favorite show.
Even had all the seasons on dvd.
I’ve rewatched it 2-3 times on Disney plus.
Topanga was absolutely one of my first celebrity crushes lol
