Considering more people watched Kendrick’s halftime show than the game, I’d say many people disagree.

Before even factoring in a lot of people doing other things during halftime while streaming the performance to an empty room I think you comparing it to the game’s average rating.

The lousy Kendrick show and his beef with DeGrassi is dumb as hell. His halftime show sucked.

The most underrated performance.

number of people watching it does not necessarily equal number of people loving it.

Besides tv sets streaming not being viewed by anyone or as many as start of the game there was also a difference in how Super Bowl viewers were counted this year. Almost all of the country (minus Hawaii and Alaska) had it’s out of home viewers measured this Super Bowl instead of just 65% of the country.

quote:

Some of the increase can be attributed to a change in the way viewers are counted. This is the first year Nielsen is measuring out-of-home viewers for all states but Hawaii and Alaska.

It was previously the top 44 media markets, which covered 65% of the country like in previous years.

Prince is number one all time. There is no debate here. Even without the rain it’s there, but in the rain just takes it to it’s own level.

People tune in the Super Bowl for entertainment and fun for everyone not some fricking message. Talk about bad timing. Stop trying to make it about you.

Before Sunday, I had no idea that there was some kind of beef between various rappers. That got me thinking. What other genre of music has had this level of "artists" calling each other out in performance, song, and media?
