No way man, I'm going to sit at the bar at Atchafalaya and drink specialty drinks and listen to millennials bitch about the corking fee.

Is this before or after Uber? I've been told by the OT that Rideshare is the best thing to happen to transportation since the wheel.

I thought the cabbies in New Orleans largely fought off the ride share companies?

Unless you're already downtown, finding a cab in Baton Rouge is almost impossible. This was before Uber, though.

It's a great list, but you cannot leave New Orleans, Louisiana off of it. It is, without question, #1. It's hilarious, really.

It's way up there, but I'd put DC at 1.

D.C. is pretty badass. I have only been there once, but I would definitely live there if I could afford it.

I lived there for a stint and there are so many different places and areas to go catering to different groups of 'young adults.' And like you said, it's fish in a barrel everywhere you go.

My friend did an exchange semester/internship at American University in DC, and he said it was like 70/30 Girl to Guy ratio...All just a bunch of horny white girls trying to work on the Hill

And they are coming off the boat every single day. There's always a new intern or new employee. It's fantastic. Those guys at Capitol Hill have it freaking made.

Has anybody mentioned that NO was #1 on this list (maybe not this exact one, but a similar "Best city for young adults" list) just last year?

I find it hard to believe in just one year they've fallen so far.

Or simply lists like this are asinine.

That's not saying much. Nashville is a great town.

I spent most of last week in Seattle and Portland. They make Memphis, Mobile, Birmingham, and New Orleans look even crappier by comparison...especially Seattle.

Also a nice town. Very expensive costs of living though. I imagine that would bring it down in some of these rankings.

What if I want a chill place with no hustle and bustle. And where can I meet women?

As a "young professional" living in New Orleans, I love it, but by no means do I think it's the number one place for young professionals, there's a reason that my wife and I are moving away when she's done with school. To leave it off of a top 35 list is laughable, though, especially if Baton Rouge is included
