I think there are also some murders in the Carencro area that don’t happen in the incorporated area

Not surprised with Kenner at all with all the cops they have. I got pulled over for running a Kenner Red(Yellow light in Kenner per the cop) and had 4 cop cars around me in minutes.

eh Ruston is great town but it seems to be people that are pretty rich or extremely poor only. There’s definitely some bad areas to Ruston.

Natchitoches and Ruston are very similar in this sense - both are seen as quaint college towns, but both do a good job of hiding the extremely dangerous and poverty stricken areas of their towns from outside eyes.

I get every town has its good and bad and some places are worse than others. I am familiar with every town on that list. But 2 years ago when I drove through Tallulah I really thought I was in the most depressing town I had ever been in !

We really call these places cities? I didn't look them all up, but at least half of them have a population of less than 10,000. Those are most certainly not cities. Even Mandeville and Youngsville are less than 15,000. Not cities.

You are correct. I know for sure Addis is technically a village.

Kind of a bs list because violent crime can come out of nowhere and shock a small town. Minden is a perfect and recent example. West Monroe has an 8-12 block area where crime is high and skews the numbers. Same with Ruston. Small area on the east side but extremely volatile. Many of these on the list barely qualify as a town, much less a city.
