Today’s horrifying first world problem.

We have out of town company staying with us. I was up early this morning and got coffee going and doing a few of my morning routine things before everyone else got up.
Finally when coffee was ready I sat down on the couch with my coffee and iPad and put my iPad on the coffee table in front of the couch. It’s one of those folding coffee tables where the top can be lifted up and brought closer to you.
Once I had the top up I looked on the coffee table for the remote to turn on the tv. IT….WASN’T….THERE. One of our guests put it on the end table by the loveseat where they were sitting last night about THREE FEET AWAY!!!
I had to lower the fricking coffee table top, stand up, take a step to my right and pick up the remote!!!!!
My lesson here is……absolutely no out of town company ever again!!!!

You should’ve texted whoever did it to get up and bring it to you. Won’t happen again.
My garbage people leave the lid open after they pick up so if it rains I’m stuck with water in the bottom. I’ve decided to stop pouring it out and keep adding more water instead until they get the hint.

If it's the automatic arm truck, the driver isn't going to put the truck in neutral, get out and close every lid that doesn't close.
If you have truck riders that do the garbage pickup, then that's lazy AF.

Must not have older kids. My oldest ALWAYS looses the remote in the couch when he's home from college. It's crazy how upside down the little things can make us.
