After my garage sale sold out in 45 minutes this morning, I went to an estate sale.
I spent $28 total.
The bat is very interesting. It’s a Louisville Slugger, 22” long, has 14 facsimile signatures on it including Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, & Joe DiMaggio.
I get zero hits on eBay. Any help in investigating it is appreciated.

Edit:
The bat is from the 1938 All Star game, featuring AL players

$5 Acme Toy movie viewer and movies

$8 vintage bicycle bell

$15 bat

This isn't baseball related, but I thought I'd share some more of my buddy's treasures.

Here's his WWI cannon. He bought it just to point at his neighbor's house because his neighbor wouldn't sell his lot to him. Instead, he built a house on the lot.

Where do you find these? Are they just glorified garage sales?

It's a garage sale for dead people.

Estatesales.net

They are estate sales. Someone dies, family takes out what they want, hires company to sell the estate.
Basically a garage sale on super steroids

Estatesales.net, but beware they get their prices from ebay most of the time. I like waiting until the last day of the sale. It's usually 50-75 percent off every thing.

Facebook and your local newspaper for the "mom and pop" estate sales. These are my favorite. They rarely know an items worth and you can score big.

I never knew Jamie Foxx played baseball. He was great in Django Unchained.

Naw, I would seriously doubt it. The signature stamps are all on the same bat.

Maybe a promotional item or a one-off from someone at the factory.

I went down a rabbit hole looking for information on the bat.

I found out that Ernie Banks’ birthdate was the wonderfully symmetrical 1-31-31!

“Let’s play two!”

Not to mention he said they were 22" long, which makes them kinda' tiny. No way this was game bat, even for a child. My guess would be some promo thing from Louisville Slugger promoting players that used their bat. Very cool none the less.

I like that bike bell. Any way you could photograph the actual bell?

I'd love the bat if you're willing to part with at a good price. Building my son a baseball themed room and it'd be perfect
