Do you know anyone with a pet squirrel?

quote:

By the 1700s, a golden era of squirrel ownership was in full swing. Squirrels were sold in markets and found in the homes of wealthy urban families, and portraits of well-to-do children holding a reserved, polite upper-class squirrel attached to a gold chain leash were proudly displayed (some of which are currently at the Metropolitan Museum of Art).

Benjamin Franklin even wrote an ode to a fallen one.
quote:

“Few squirrels were better accomplished, for he had a good education, had traveled far, and seen much of the world.” Franklin wrote, adding, “Thou art fallen by the fangs of wanton, cruel Ranger!”

My oldest daughter has a pet squirrel, “Freddie.” Has the run of the house along with her 8 cats. Uses his own litter pan.

Squirrels in GA and TN are vermin who destroy property.

I have a ball picking off those sneaky frickers with my old man's pellet gun.

For anyone who wants a pet squirrel, I have plenty free of charge. You catch the evil bastards and you can have them.
Oh....by pet squirrel I mean not a pet at all and they are assholes.
