So sorry for your loss, Fish. As others have mentioned, it's not your fault. Try not to spend a lot of time thinking you're in any way responsible. You're not. I'm sure you did the best you could to care for him. I know from personal experience that it's a difficult situation to handle, but I hope you and your family are able to cope well enough and reach a level of acceptance and peace.
You're a good guy who has plenty of e-friends. I'm sure you have just as many IRL friends. Take them up on their offers of help. Take care and be well.

We lost ours this past November at age 31. Based on our experience the tough part is yet to come...after the shock wears off. Were it not for faith I don't know how we would be where we are. Prayers, sir, lots of prayers your way.
Duke it out with the Lord. Lay your complaint before Him. I'm not saying he will help you understand. But he can bring you some measure of peace.

Fish, I have no words. I can't imagine what you're going through. I would want you to know that this isn't your fault or your son's.
I have worried about my son and have had talks with him about this.
