But our DNA is always changing. Mutations occur. Regulation of expression occurs. A gene that was actively being transcribed a year ago may now be effectively silenced, which is functionally no different from a hard-coded alteration in the sequence that ruins some enzyme.
Our DNA (and more importantly, its expression) isn't static and unchanging - it's variable and can be altered by everything from diet, exercise, to many other environmental elements.

Hell I’ve done similar but me and my CrossFit baws only paused for the first month until we figured out it was a hoax. Been at the box ever since. No vaccine for this baw. Not anti-vaccine but definitely anti fast vaccine.

Got Moderna and was fine after the first shot outside of a sore arm. The second shot was good until about 6 hours in. After that I felt like I got ran over by a big rig for about the next 24 hours.

I had covid and later got the vaccine.. covid sucked, like a really bad cold with a lot of fatigue, then the first round of the pfizer vaccine made me fatigued for a day then the 2nd dose I didn't even notice anything.
Not sure on correlation with infection severity, but having worse side effects with first injection than with the second has been what i have heard from most from people I have talked to that were confirmed positives for virus in the past. OP’s reaction to 2nd injection is more of what I hear from those who were never infected with virus.
