Florida and Acadian. Emailed DOTD and they are supposed to redo a stretch of Florida Blvd from North 22nd to Airline. Construction is suposed to start Q2 of 2026 so I guess we deal with the horrendous conditions until then.

As a single golfer most of the time (I normally book a tee time with others) I cant count how many times I am at the tee box 5-10 minutes early and the starter tells me the group you are with already teed off at an earlier time(at Santa Maria). You can imagine how slow it at that point as a single playing behind a full tee sheet.
Santa Maria is starting to get to the price point of it not being worth it for the conditions provided. Yes you can prepay for cheaper rates. I understand they are full, all day, everyday plus host multiple tournaments a month but some of the condition issues comes down to the golfers. Sand your divots, fix your ballmarks(and others) on the greens, rake the sand traps and dont allow certain individuals to drive wherever they want on the golf course. I feel like the geofencing is different for different carts/people.

They block tee times on certain day(s) of the week to allow maintenance on the course. I understand what they are trying to do but the small window they are blocking off isnt enough. The bunkers are unplayable. Close the course down on Mondays and perform a full day of uninterrupted maintenance(but this limits BRECs income). When its time to aerate, aerate the tee boxes, fairways and greens.

As far as practice facilities, the amount of laziness and flat out disregard for conditions continues to amaze me. You have a decent short game area if you were able to maintain it. It needs aeration terribly as the ground is so compacted and rock hard. Sand fill the divots, provide consistent turf conditions, and once again, maintain the bunkers. Provide practice balls for the paying customers at this area as well as the white PVC device to gather the balls (cant tell you how many times I have been out there and the short game area had no practice balls on it and the white PVC device was on the putting green by the 1st tee box or broken.) The green surround next to the first tee box is getting destroyed by everyone who thinks that is the short game area. Show up to the golf course in enough time and go to the real short game area. The short game area is also NOT an extension of the driving range. Walk or drive your lazy self to driving range and stop tearing up the short game area. Look at Beaver Creek as an example of BREC who maintains their short game area and provides good conditioned practice balls and turf conditions(white for short game and yellow for the driving range).

If BREC cared about golf and wanted to provide great golf courses I believe they could. Get rid of the buddy/buddy shenanigans, listen to the input of the golfing community, open all facilities at the courses, run the courses properly and have the people do their jobs and take pride in what they do. Look at the RTJ trail as a prime example.

re: Baton Rouge Greens Report

Played Santa Maria today. Greens were smooth and pretty quick for a public course. Didnt see a ton of ballmarks that needed replacing which was a huge surprise. Poa creeping in on the edges of the greens. Hopefully they can stay in good shape through the spring and summer.

I would sell that as one whole lot on Ebay. The coins are not in great shape(scratched, well worn, clipped) and the red seal bills are worn as well. The kennedy half dollars would be composed of 90% silver for 1964 dates and 40% silver from 1965-1970. Other than that there is no silver in them. The Morgan dollars are 90% silver and right above 3/4oz silver content in each coin. You will not get anywhere near bullion price as a previous poster stated as they are not bullion and not .9999 fine silver.

You have a mix of US coins, Canadian coins and privately minted tokens. For the red seal notes look at the serial numbers and see if there are any star notes or repeater notes and put those aside or make sure they are pointed out in your listing.

As far as figuring out pricing I would look at numismedia.com, PCGS or NGC. You can also look at The Official Red Book to get good info on rarity, mintage figures and grades/conditions of coins.

It has been a while since I sold on ebay but you can search the website and it will give you the listing and selling fees for coins. I believe the weight of the package plays into shipping costs as well. Request payment within 3 days of the listing ending and make sure it clears before shipping items. I would insure the package and require signature confirmation upon delivery.

Were you on levelized billing with Entergy? If so, I dont think it transferred when the switch to Delta Utilities was made. You will need to re-enroll in levelized billing.

The cost of natural gas has gone up as well. The first bill was .411754/CCF and the last bill was .630439/CCF. The higher cost of natural gas during the cold months plays a part in the increased bills. Since Delta Utilities took over my usage went from 8CCF to 52CCF and my bills range between $20 and $75/mo.

Landsend makes some good pants. 50% off everything right now. Mens Travel Kit Traditional 5 Pocket Pants.
Watch out with the UTMA accounts as your child will get the money at the age of transfer and can do whatever they want with it (bad if he/she is financially irresponsible). Look at Vanguard ETF (VOO). Put it in your name and your child as the beneficiary.
