I still don't know anyone personally who has been sick with the virus. We live in a private gated community with over 3000 residents roughly half black/white and plenty of Hispanics represented. We have had 10 Covid-19 deaths in our county; all elderly people in nursing homes.
I wear a light weight surgical type mask in public places out of courtesy for others just in case I sneeze or cough. I would say I see roughly half/half mask wearing in public places and I don't have a problem either way because things seem to be pretty much back to normal in our area other than distancing precautions in various businesses.

Me and my wife hit just about every bar in downtown Shreveport while we could. All were well socially distanced, people were keeping to their parties etc. Stayed out till 2 some night and never saw anything out of hand...really was no different than being in restaurants. I get that some bars this was NOT the case... but some restaurants were worse than bars, but they get a pass? Honestly most bars we went to had more social distancing than grocery stores.
My point remains...people are being shamed, at times by the very government officials who opened the bars, for going to bars. frick were we supposed to do???

The virus isn’t bullshite, and most know that. It’s the over sensational, fear mongering that the government, media, and healthcare professionals are doing.
They are saying numbers are going up so we have to frick our economy up, but they aren’t giving real data. Instead just showing the increased numbers each day.

Im tired of everybody blaming the young folks. Its the 30 to 50 year olds who refuse to wear a mask or follow rules bc nobody should be giving them requirements and laws lol

False. Stay at home was to keep the hospitals from over capacity. It prolonged the inevitable spike. At some point we have to deal with it because staying at home wasn’t going to stop or kill the virus.
