You do not have a Family member or Friend who is suffering or has suffered.
The cause of the upswing, is simple you went out, did not wear a mask. If everyone had stayed home except for important business, we could have beaten this in a Month.
History repeats itself over and over again, check the Black Plague in the 14 Century, fleas returning from China on Ships. People could not stay home, people in Great Britian, did not heed the warning.

A serious question for people like you....when the government opened bars, were we supposed to NOT go to the bars?
ETA: Can the people downvoting me please answer the question. I keep seeing people like me getting blamed for going to bars (good bit of bar hoping and no COVID) but were people supposed to not go when they were opened??

you'll get nailed for that post, but you are right. The disciple of the "general public" is terrible. As soon as someone of authority now days gives advice people start screaming about freedom being removed. Relatively simple measures of personal responsibility could have finished this virus off.
