I don’t care what kind or how much education you had- you are a dime a dozen. Know that!!
You are not in demand like you think you are!

Did you ask them to take it off? They might.

Some docs work for corporations and really have no say in that kinda stuff.

And I’m the one that seems angry. I didn’t say one curse word. I never spelled it out anyway and didn’t use the F word. A lot of people responded to my post with anger, hate and vulgarity. Makes you wonder who the real angry people are.

You're either incredibly unaware or some bible beating loser who thinks using curse words is a condemnation to hell.

You just spent half of your day talking shite about the knowledge, skill, and societal contributions of an entire profession that takes a ton more time and financial commitment than your career. Didn't say a curse word though, so I guess makes you the intelligent & rational one.

The profession has been watered down by Caribbean schools and every community college offering a PA program. I'm not saying he is right, but to pretend like the profession is as exclusive and honorable as it once was is incorrect.

To pretend like they're nitwits and grossly overpaid is far more incorrect. PAs lmao - yeah, that covers the full MD spectrum.

A lot more people in the medical field than we would like to admit are. You can't deny this

What a melt, but you pay because you wanted a doctor's time. There aren't so many doctors that they're begging for patients. They have full schedules and a cancellation screws them out of seeing a real patient. Every doctors office I've ever been to has a 48 hour policy.

I don't work in a field that's even remotely related to medicine, and I don't find MDs to be grossly overcompensated given the demands of making it through med school + residency & the hours a large swathe of them work. There are anomalous cases where people are making far too much or too little as is the case with every career field.

I've thought more than once about heading back to school for medicine and determined that it's not worth the commitment relative to where I am professionally already. You and OP are welcome to give it a go since it's a field that evidently commands way more money than you feel it justly deserves.

Then you are no more an authority than OP is, who I have already stated I disagree with.

If a lot of ppl here are in the med field, y’all have a lot of time on your hands to be writing on here- but y’all are charging for missed and re-scheduled appointments lol.
Also- for whoever talked about their financial time and blah blah compared to my profession- you have no clue

I think random DO schools loosely affiliated with small Protestant liberal arts colleges has replaced the Caribbean schools over the last 15 years or so.

Why not? A PA is not a doctor. There are relatively few Carribean trained doctors in the pool of MDs.
