I agree. It’s not so much the smell as it is people just being trashy about it. Have some respect for yourself and others.

Give me pot smoke over cigarette smoke any day

It does smell horrible.

There is a park near our house that always smells like MJ.

It’s not an enjoyable smell.

I know smokers can’t tell how bad cigarettes smell. I remember when I quit smoking in the late 90s, one of the first things I noticed (finally) was how bad cigarettes smell. I think it’s the same thing for pot smokers. They can’t tell how bad and how strong it smells.

IMO, if someone wants to burn one down in their home, that’s their business. But just like I don’t walk or drive around town drinking an Old Fashioned, they need to leave the bong at home.

I don’t understand why cigarette smoke in public is acceptable but pot isn’t.
