This guy basically says WD-40 plus magic eraser, then soapy water then some wax...assuming the scuff marks haven't penetrated the outer layer of your car's paint job...thoughts?

Nano Sparkle worked like a charm for me. Got it at WalMart IIRC.

My wife (no pic) opened her new SUV door into a brick wall this weekend.* It took paint off the door edge. I ordered this: Scratches Happen
We’ll see if it works, I guess.
*She says the wind caught it. It was breezy that day.

Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound

Buffing compound. Or you may need cutting compound. YouTube has lots of videos.
ChrisFix is pretty good though. Try it out.

Duct tape belongs in the same sentence as WD40 and magic eraser. Those solve 67% of my problems at home.

Add Kroil and might get you to 80%

if its just a scuff easy peasy, a scratch can only be fixed by filling in the indentation, depending on the severity of the scuff, I been using 3m compounds for 30 plus years easy if you have a buffer, takes a little elbow grease by hand

Duct tape, a shovel, contractor-sized trash bags, and lime belongs in the same sentence as WD40 and magic eraser. Those solve 67% of 55% of my problems at home.

Just remove the part of the car that has the scratch. Saves on gas mileage too with out that extra weight

Nail polish remover works pretty good for getting unwanted paint or compounds off.
I wouldn't put WD40 anywhere I didn't want it to stay.
