That's a lot of work for enough alcohol to last you one sitting.

Huh.

A big bottle of Listerine works for bourbon too

I had two liquor plastic liquor bottles of vodka wrapped up in blue jeans and a bunch of other clothes

They got confiscated

Rumrunner flasks are the way to go.

Don't try to put it in water bottles and walk on with it, they bang them on the table and look for bubbles.

I had a buddy wear boots and put a couple of fifths in there, that worked out fine. I helped another friend duct tape some liquor to his chest so he could put a loose-fitting shirt on and just walk through security.

There were 6 of us, and I think half of us succeeded in sneaking things on.

Take advantage of the wine stipulation and buy a good red to bring on. Remember that even if you don't care for wine, there's probably a nice looking chick on the boat that does.

Good luck.

Never been on Carnival, but cruise Norwegian a lot. I use rum runners and just pack them in my checked bags. I packed 6 of them last trip spread out through my bags, and everyone of them got through. 2 flasks of wine, 2 of vodka, and 2 of dark rum.

I only bought like 2 drinks for the whole week.

I took 6 fifths with us when we went. put some in my bag. some in my wife's bag and some in the cargo pockets on my shorts. Thinking that at least some of it would get through. We ended up getting all of it through. I mixed the rum runners in the suitcase around lots of other liquid stuff like shampoo and a bottle of wine.

get one of these, and take the cap off of one of them without breaking the seal. pour out the water and fill it with vodka. put cap back on

This definitely does not work, as others have mentioned. I've seen tons of Listerine bottles confiscated as well.

Buy a really big hat and sneak it in on your head. It's so obvious that they won't even bother to look. It worked for my friends cousins aunt when she went to the Bahamas.

So you can't afford drinks on the cruise? I then would venture to say you can't afford to be on the cruise.

It's not about being able to afford it. It is about choosing not to pay the ridiculously inflated prices they charge for drinks.

what if you just kinda hide the booze in it's original bottles in your suitcase? has anyone ever tried this?

Group of like 30 of us went as a high school graduation thing. I'd say about everyone tried it. Probably 5/25 bags actually got their booze taken, rest were fine.

I think they just random screen and if you're chosen I don't think your massive mouthwash is going to fool anyone.
