He’s probably just shocked by the bands of uncivilized heathens he is consistently running into down there.

Tim Apple, at least by this video, dresses normal, appears normal, and doesn't have a barrage of security detail around him. He just wanted to enjoy a poboy.

No one should fault him for that (assuming some negative comments will be incoming).

He is doesn’t seem to be a dynamic guy or someone having a big personality. He is Operations/Supply Chain guy not a tech
“visionary” headcase. He became COO and then CEO for running Apple’s supply chain not for developing software or hardware. Even though alphabet and other DEI agenda is strongly pushed across Apple products He doesn’t push being gay as what he should be identified as first and foremost and is fairly private about personal life.

They say it’s to show diversity now, but he was handing the mic over a lot to other team members to speak at Apple Events long before as it’s just not his strong point.

It's ironic to me that an influencer account (which leans my way in most things to be fair) is trying to make a story for clicks out of Tim Cook being completely ordinary on the dubious basis that Tim Cook was confused by lack of attention.

All I see is the same slightly awkward nerdy Cook navigating a NO restaurant.

From what I’ve read about him, he places a high amount of value on his own personal privacy (which is why he makes such a big deal about it with Apple products) and tries to live an unassuming life.

Considering he's one of the richest gay men on the planet in 2025, I think he does that remarkably well.

The guy was Michael Rubin, CEO and founder of Fanatics and he's worth about $11 billion. I couldn't have picked the man out in a lineup but really nice dude

This is interesting, because I’ve listened to a few interviews with him where he just comes across as incredibly egotistical and unlikable.

I saw coach gruden walking around like ten years ago in the French quarter and nobody recognized him. I almost asked for an autograph but figured leave him be.

I had it in my head (I can't pinpoint a source) that he was pretty widely regarded as a douche.

But it is a cool story, so who knows.
