To be fair, it was SFP.

Not that he deserves downvotes just because, but he’s regularly trolling.

This couple (SAHM in rural LA and husband-father working in petro) probably does 100-150k easily but that requires him to get a lot of OT (naturally).

Which totally makes the size of "Work" make even more sense

That meme reminded me of the old caveman cartoons.

Do you know why cavemen dragged their women by the hair?

Because if he had dragged her around by the ankle, her pussy would fill up with dirt.

But I see the difference in our extended families' kids who were around their parents early versus those who went to daycare and it is.....stark.

This is more of a function of who the parents are and whether or not they work with their kids more than daycare vs not going to daycare.

And as one of the other posters pointed out

quote:

Our baby is about to turn two and the blows milestones out the water and I believe it’s directly due to my wife working with her daily on educational skills.

This is the absolute key and its independent of whether or not the kids go to daycare.

A good day care will reinforce early education skills along with added socialization skills and boost the immune system.

Note: By no means am I trying to tell you how to raise your family. Obviously, that's for you to decide what's best. I'm pointing out that your child's development relies more on you, the parent, than the schools/daycares they attend or don't attend.

I didn't think you were, I actually appreciate the perspective.

I think we'd like to be in control of that part of their lives, but it does make me want to look more closely at daycares and the costs/availability of those we wouldn't mind sending our daughter to.

This is accurate. I also don’t categorize her load in the pic as separate work, but as tasks within the job, which is not pictured within his load.

It also assumes the man isn't helping with any of the loads she's carrying which is complete bullshite.

She should have married a doctor. Then she could hire a housekeeper and go play tennis at the country club.

Nailed it ! If it showed the Man with what is required to complete task at work which often keeps me up at night @home. Then throw in the work required at home usually performed by man such as Mowing grass , projects around house and also paying all the bills etc...then that burden displayed for woman doesnt look so rough.
