OT watch snobs...

I recently purchased a Tudor Black Bay Bronze. I've had it for a month or so and pretty much only wear it now. My other watches are a Tag Aqua Racer and Oris Aquis Date.

However, the other watch I've always loved along with Tudor watches is the Grand Seiko. Any experiences with this? Obtuse1...tell me your thoughts specifically.

I’ve never heard it mentioned in a rap song.

Did you take a picture of your watch on your suede jacket with the bokeh setting on high? Snob.

I’d get something different than a watch with a big thick bezel. A pilot or a bauhaus...something with a large dial to case size ratio.

All $3k or so.

The movement in the GS is but so cool AF. Styling, meh...

I think you really get a lot of watch with GS. Tons of thought put into every detail. The SBGY003 is pure perfection for a watch, in my humble opinion.

No experience, but a Grand Seiko is on the top of my list at the moment.

If I ever decided to spend that kind of money on a watch to wear, it would be a Grand Seiko.

Has anyone here ever had a Seiko Moon Phases watch? I've been looking at them for a while now. I almost bought the Orient Sun/Moon version a while back, but I like the Seiko with the Moon Phases, day, and month complications better, I think.

I find the snowflake GS's to be the best. There's on for sale over on timezone that is way cool. With spring drive. They're called snowflakes because the dial looks like snow, nothing to do with soyboys.

If I were looking to part with $5k I'd go with this one now:

Just got this for less last week and very pleased.

Are Fossil watches all the rage? I remember owning a Fossil watch in 8th grade feeling like a boss.

Those are 3 ugly watches you put up there. But, different taste I guess.

More like homos, amirite?

Grand Seiko isn't the same as the Seiko you see in department stores.

Nothing wrong with a Bauhaus watch. It's like the opposite end of the spectrum from a Breitling I guess, but some people like the simplistic, clean look of them. I see the good in both.

That’s what I’m saying...a different looking watch from his Black Bay. Both of those are a perfect piece to balance the collection. Next is a true diver.

I’ve handled a few and they are awesome. Whenever I get the itch for another watch it’ll be a GS spring drive.

GS quality is awesome for the price, I feel like Tudor and GS are the best bang for your buck luxury watches.
