This.
Very, very difficult thing for someone to go through. Perhaps a little classless and out of touch, but it's a difficult time.
Remember, females become connected emotionally to a child very early in the development process. Men don't develop that connection until after the birth.

So sad, but people will post JUST about anything!

I just deleted a girl off Instagram because she kept posting a picture of her dead mom.
You see a lot of people posting pictures of their dead relatives and friends grave markers, and that's trashy enough, but this bitch kept posting this picture of her moms dead body in her casket from the funeral. WTF.
I couldn't even finish scrolling through to find fap material.

Using your dead child to attention whore

Posting it on FB is friggin aweful.
ex-wife and I lost our first baby after 36 weeks. Preeclampsia took the baby's life and almost mom's life.
scary and obviously rough on the emotions.
The hospital staff recommended we hold the baby and say our goodbyes. It was meant to ease the pain and loss. needless to say this was the worst day of my life.
I can see someone not thinking clearly in those moments but in this case, there had to be someone with the mom who should have stopped it from happening. I would have never thought of sharing those tumultuous moments on FB.

It just seems very odd to seek support from loved ones via social media. To me, they are seeking support from random friends and acquaintances. Their loved ones already are aware and have expressed their condolences in more appropriate ways.

My sister was friends with a Facebook group that celebrated birthdays for still borns. One actually was up to 8 years.

My wife and I lost our first child at 20 weeks. He suffered from potters syndrome and did not develop kidneys. we chose to have the child thru labor rather than abort or other options. going in we knew he would be stillborn. In the moment we agreed to have pictures taken of him after he was born but we did not allow any family members to see him or the pictures. we wanted everyone to keep the image of our son they had in their minds, not the reality.
everyone goes about it differently.

Idiots like that is why I shut down my FB account years ago.

I've seen this twice on Facebook. One was a professional shoot with 50 pics. I don't get it. At least set the privacy to close family.

People fear death and don't like to see it. It's not a healthy fear.

Here's the thing. It's her Facebook to post as she pleases and not to worry about every persons own opinion on the topic. If you don't like it-unfriend her. Regarding why she posted it....you're thinking of this too black and white. She is grieving in a way you will never understand and you know what? Even though her child was still born, maybe..just maybe, she loves that baby and is just as proud of him/her as those who are proud of their living childre . Part of her grief could be that she is mourning never being able to have pics of her child growing up like so many of her friends do. That's all she has. This one moment. Let her have it and try to set aside selfish thoughts of worrying about how YOU feel. I promise you that she is feeling much worse.

This right here reinforces my reasoning for getting rid of facebook 3 years ago
