Thoughts on a Possible New Invention

I just recently watched the documentary "The Island President", which is a film about carbon emissions in the atmosphere and the issues it has caused the environment, particularly coastal erosion in the Maldives and other small islands. This documentary really got me thinking about all the pollution that has been put into the atmosphere over the years and how much emphasis scientists and scholars around the globe have begun to focus on it, especially since the publication of Rachel Carson's book Silent Spring in 1962 (I just recently checked out a copy from the Jefferson Parish Library so they are currently out of stock if anyone was interested in reading it).
Anyhow, I have come to an understanding that, we as a community, and as a world really, need to continue to make strides to continue to prevent further damage to the Ozone layer from carbon emissions. One way I think this can be done is to find a more suitable fuel for our automobiles.
Now, we all know algal biofuels are being developed to possibly eradicate this longstanding issue, but I'm really not sold on this being an acceptable solution. Instead, I think scientists should work on developing a car that runs on phenolphthalein, a common base indicator used by chemists, and alchemists for that matter as well. After reading an essay by Saunders Overton and speaking to my neighbor, who is a retired chemist, I have come to the conclusion that this single invention could blaze a path for other inventions that would defeat carbon emissions and air pollution altogether.

Most technological innovations that change the world begin on the OT, so you're off to a great start

Somebody should invent the paragraph.

I figured you would appreciate the information, and, really, its just a good theory to reflect upon and journal about on this fine Thursday afternoon.

The environment isn’t real. You think there’s some bubble around the earth holding the air in? We woulda popped it with space ships

Take a Technical Writing course for starters.

Oh, I'm a teacher. I just had to rush this out while I'm on a break.

We should try alternative energy sources? That's some revolutionary thinking man

People stopped using hair spray a long time ago man, the ozone is fine now.

Ozone layer hasn't been a problem since the 90s. That hole closed right on up, once the aqua net usage slowed down to a trickle once the big hair fad of the 80s went out of style.

well that was a poor use of time

Carbon emissions have nothing to do with the ozone layer. That was CFCs. And the ozone layer is fine now. Thanks for asking though.

You sound like you've done some very thorough research

Good thing you clarified it was a “new” invention.

Break? You mean the 5 months y’all get off for summer?
