I would be more inclined to eat here knowing the owners are bold about something as basic as anti-hate.

I'll bet the owner of this place rides his 3-speed recycled bike to work every day.

Annoying that they put it up (assumingly) unsolicited. Maybe they are trying to increase their odds from fending off a restaurant hold-up/robbing.
By letting thugs know that “yeah, we probably don’t believe in guns so we’re likely gonna be soft targets Consisting of Rich, clueless hipsters.”

I would walk past the sign and not let it affect my delicious hamburger because I’m an adult and I don’t get bent out of shape over such trivial bullshite.
However, I am also not going to give my money to someone who likely hates me for simply being white and voting republican

Sounds like they hate the white supremacy movement and the Nazi party. That hate isn't welcome at Cowbell.

I usually interpret these as "we only want crazy people" for business.
She wouldn't know the difference between a regular person or a Nazi sympathizer if they're just sitting down to eat. Unless of course they are wearing or donning something obvious to signal their affiliation.

Seems to me like they're only expressly citing certain forms of hate. I bet others would be welcomed or at least excused.

Cowbell makes in my opinion the best burger in New Orleans
meh..I've seen better burgers walking across the Quad on any given Saturday afternoon

Looks like something that was left up from MLK day last week. Skinheads like burgers too though.

Avenue Pub has something similar on their menus.
Obviously not many people condone hate and racism especially nazism. The fact that you feel you need to advertise this is kinda ridiculous. Maybe they had a problem with skinheads frequenting cowbell for that delicious $10 Mac and cheese

Would be hilarious if someone created a fake account and reviewed the restaurant while saying they were a closeted nazi and encouraged all closeted nazis to go there and enjoy the wonderful cuisine

but if they put up a pro life message, you'd probably boycott them right?

It's just not their place to say that. It's a restaurant. They provide a service by giving me food and I pay them for it. It could be a stance I agree with or disagree with, it's just not their place to lecture me or anyone else. I'll choose to bring my business somewhere else.

True white supremacist views and Nazism in the US are negligible
Pretending they're some some crisis is obnoxious

Who cares. If the food's good, I'll eat there. They own their own business and can say whatever they want. I can do the same.

Reminds me of the poster at Roul’s on Plank Road.

And that's your prerogative. Just like it's mine to take my wallet elsewhere.

The owners

Wasn’t there just a court case that said you couldn’t discriminate against people with different beliefs?
If I was down there i’d Dress up as hitler, March into there, demand they serve me, video it as they refused and then sued them to oblivion for mental anguish, just like those dykes and the cake baker.
