Starting in June, I have religiously taken Vit D, Vit C, and Zinc since reading that this concoction seems to help with immune health. Long story short, this has probably been the best I have felt between Nov-Feb. Typically I get some sort of congestion/cough combo that typically lingers during the cold weather months but not this year.

Anyone feel that this has been helpful?

I also have yet to get sick... I know in years past if I woke up with a scratchy throat I could take some Zicam(Zinc) and OJ and would feel great within an hour or two

By this time almost every year, I usually come down with bronchitis. This is the first year I haven’t gotten it in a very long time. I take exactly what you have in your title. I also don’t wear a mask for 90. % of the places I visit.

Vitamin D during covid almost eliminated my use of an inhaler.

That or going strictly carnivore for most of the year.

One of those things changed my life.

I’ve been taking C since April. I chalk not being sick up to that but I’ve also religiously exercised 5 days a week since quarantine. I think that probably has something if not the most to do with it.

Nah baw. They don’t give enough of the concoction above. They do have the three above in gummy form. I get to eat essentially a pack of vitamin gummy bears every morning!

Yes. I also take NAC sustain.

In short, I am around tons of people for extended periods of time every weekday. As a result, I am probably exposed to the virus regularly.

I have been quarantined twice for “close contact.”

Then again, I may have had this shite two November’s ago (2019). I was around someone that was pretty sick. He was Chinese and his extended family was from Wuhan. IIRC, they had come in to visit from Wuhan in September.
After I recovered (roughly 6 weeks of multiple doctors visits with the same response...you probably have a virus) my wife then got really sick in mid to late December. Her extended family got sick in January. The first positive test within her family was shortly thereafter (a nurse). Her family called me Covid Jimmy for awhile (think Typhoid Mary). Crazy to look back on it now.

I've taken additional C and D for years, so I didn't add it recently and do not take additional Zinc. Also have not even had the sniffles for probably 2 years.

Have no clue if those are related to be honest.

Been taking all that for years. Haven’t had the rona yet and I am pretty exposed everyday and I rarely wear a mask. Idk if it’s the supplements but to me it’s cheap insurance.

This is the time of year vitamin D deficiency is most rampant due to less outdoor activity and exposure to the sun.

There are lots of good arguments as to whether or how much vitamin supplementation helps, but I do believe vitamin D impacts energy level, mood and boosts immune health. Ideally most of your intake should be via sun or diet.

Speaking to zinc, back when they had the nasal swabs with zinc before people who stuck them too far up their sinuses had problems, I noticed a huge difference in terms of duration and severity of symptoms for colds. This was only true if taken right at symptom onset, but for me it was night and day.

But again, route of administration matters and I don’t think taking zinc as a pill works the same as swabbing it directly into your nose where viruses replicate.

I’ll add that I’ve been exposed to covid multiple times and was a symptomatic, but I don’t think you can draw a conclusion from one persons experience.

Take a multi vitamin, fish oil, vitamin C, and biotin everyday.

But I’ve done this for the better part of two years

I do because I have not been sick with anything. Plan on making it a ritual.

Do they have a zinc product that you can apply in your nose? A spray or something if the swabs are out?

Other than occasional allergies and a brief stint w COVID at the beginning of 2020, I’m in this boat. C, D & Zyrtec or xyzal everyday for years, never did Zinc

It helps an insane amount. I exercise a lot and eat “healthy” but I still think our society in general, including myself, suffers from pretty severe vitamin deficiencies due to eating fast food, fake meat, and no veggies as much as we do.

My mind feels so much more clear, I’m less nervous/anxious all the time, I sleep better, and I just feel more rested and less sick from allergies. Pretty sure I was suffering from a pretty bad zinc deficiency based on how much it helped me
