Those traveling from Louisiana to Texas what has your experience been like?

I've been checking this board constantly since they established the checkpoint on Sunday for an update. Have they been letting you pass through if you have Texas plates? Is everyone being forced to sign paperwork saying they'll quarantine? Are the lines backed up? TIA

searched trunk of my caddy and then did a body cavity search of everyone in car. It was horrible. They didn't even use a new glove.

The Texas Navy is stationed on Toledo Bend ready to Battle of Midway any Louisiana aluminum dinghy that crosses the state line.

I told them I was going to El Paso, so tough to hammer down where I'll exactly be and when.

I live in Shreveport. A co-worker of mine lives in Texas. He said the checkpoint on I-20 is 6 miles inside Texas. He just gets off the exit before the checkpoint, takes back roads and gets back on the interstate after the checkpoint.

They are not supposed to be stopping commercial vehicles. From what I am told if you have a company logo on your vehicle you are considered commercial traffic and not stopped. It was suggested we get a company magnet logo put on our vehicles that are crossing into Texas.

News says you have to fill out a form stating where you plan to spend your 14-day quarantine.

What about getting into Arkansas from Louisiana? Are they checking there as well?

This guy in front of me was from Louisiana but I saw him unscrew his plate and put on a Texas one in Lake Chuck. The produce truck driver I paid $100 to smuggle me in told me that when he got to the border, they Texans ran the plate and went to arrest him, he made a run for it and got shot. So it must be pretty serious.
