I get mine done at the dealership. I run Mobil 1 in my 2020 Sierra. I put a ton of miles on it so using the Mobil 1. I don’t trust the quick lube places.

I trust the oil change places over a dealership any day. They are the worst.
The oil change places have Mobil 1.

You went to a dealership for an oil change?

The ones around BR are owned by a group out of TX. They just opened one in Zachary. No horror stories yet.

They just opened one in Prairieville as well.

Imagine it was a BMW service which should be more than just an oil change.

Still not worth it, but one of those warranty ownership things

Make sure you mention how you want to run Royal Purple next because you hear it is really good.

Like anything else in life, the more you do it the better and faster you get.

I change my own oil because I'm good at it and i dont trust grease monkeys to not frick something up.

For changing oil use ramps instead of a jack and jack stands.

Yes, but it takes 2 hours, and they claim the car needs this and that.
“Ford recommends changing your blink fluid every 15k miles, we can do it for you today for $300!”

Price Leblanc tried to sell me fuel injectors cleaning and cabin air filter at 20k miles.
As soon as my free oil changes were up, I quit going there.

With Groupon, it's $18 where I go - $24 with a new set of windshield wiper blades. I get the wiper blades even when I don't really need them. They also check and top off other fluids.

Kind of a no-f*cking-brainer.

Unfortunately I did pay 100 for my wife’s (no pics) Honda Pilot. 116 actually. I vowed next time I’ll do it myself. I do my jeeps my self.

There are 2 oil change Groupons in New Orleans for $19 and $22.

Baton Rouge has one for $22.50 on Jones Creek Rd.

Bad comparison. It’s like anything else you do it a few times and get set up for it and it only takes about 10 minutes. Seriously.
No man should have to pay another man to do something that a man should know how to do.

Eta: every 10k I drain the oil and refill. Mobil1 0w40. Every 20k I pull the skid plates and change the filter.

240k miles and you could eat off my cams they are so clean.

It’s easy in my truck and it allows me to be smug about men who don’t change their own oil, so I do it myself.

Your mansplaining here as an alter is ironic.
