I’d be curious to see how my workplace’s HR handled some situations.
My boss hired someone who turned out to have lied about her qualifications and was horribly incompetent at her job. She wasn’t there long. She may have claimed racism was at the heart of it but majorly fricking up the same way multiple times doesn’t bode well.

Considering this woman filled the position you really think Google is going to hire a normal person?
I understand they want diversity but there are plenty of POC who are normal out there. How Google manages to always hire the absolute craziest 100% full blast activist communist blows my mind.

She worked for Google, publishes a research paper about a Google product, and then asked by Google to either remove paper or “remove her name and the names of the other Google employees.”
It seems like a simple request. Instead she gives them an ultimatum that if not met she would resign, and after telling her that the demands can’t be met they accept her resignation. That also seems pretty simple and to the point matching her declared intentions.
If she wanted to keep her job and submit paper then just take names off. If she wants attention refuse, resign, and then claim to be fired on social media and be a black female.

This exact scenario happened to a friend of mine. He was tired of stuff happening around his facility and told his boss something to the effect of, "Well if you aren't going to listen to me on xyz, I might as well work elsewhere" and his boss said, "OK, your resignation is accepted effective immediately."
It's not unheard of for sure.
