There is nothing more obnoxious than any 17 year old who self-describes as "an activist."
His name is Ziad. During the Iran hostage crisis, I would call the KRLD news talk show as "Ziad, Iranian student" and say, with a thick Iranian accent, "All I want to say is Iran yes, America no." The phones would then blow up for the next couple of hours.

Remember, minorities are always under qualified 
Every person I know that has gone to Stanford is a minority and they were all overqualified to be there...PEs, PHDs, MDs, multiple football players, economist...
The most "under qualified" one happens to be a biomed engineer and he's white.
Go figure
Point being, prehaps yall should get out of you bubble. There are minorities that are smarter than you think and will continue to be so. It's not something magical or mysterious thing
