Tesla may have the worst resale value of any car I’ve ever owned. It’s basically going to be a throw away for me when I’m done driving it.

That’s your fault for driving a soymobile instead of supporting your brothers in the oil field

people wonder why this generation is broke as shite....they're spending $60-70K on two depreciating assets, then doing it all over again in less than 48 months.

Taking out 84 month notes on a truck or car that costs $70-$80k or more is insane.

After 84 months of depreciation it won't be worth jack, and will long be out of warranty. So you're stuck with an 84 month old vehicle you can't get much for on a trade in or out right sale, and going to be paying out the arse for horrendously expensive repairs.

But these folks aren't keeping their cars for the full 84 months. They are trading it after 24-36 months and are rolling the negative equity into the next loan. The joke's on you!

Electric cars are appliances and will be treated as such. Even “premium” brands like Porsche have horrible resale on their electric vehicles.

If that wasn’t absolutely staged, I’d likely think it was ridiculous.

What’s the worst part about a Tesla: the resale or having to tell your dad you’re gay?

Teslas goal is to make their cars cheaper and better every year.

That’s going to affect resale.

I got mine used at $21,000 with 32K miles. Pristine condition with brand new tires. Full warranty still has another year and battery and motors until 2029.

Hopefully, there will be lots of shops modding and repairing them by then.

There’s maybe 2.5 million teslas on the road.

Yep, no one is going to want one with a battery replacement in their future

Anybody in the car business can tell you that this goes on in every dealership every day.

There's going to be a ton of used Tesla's on the market around here as soon as these work visas start expiring and don't get renewed. We have a massive influx of Indians and they all drive a Tesla.

Sure. But that doesn’t make this video real.
