Thinking about going back to college

Graduated from LSU in 2012 in ISDS, my 1st few ISDS classes were really easy to me, so professor suggested I major in that. As time went on the classes got harder and began to struggle. Graduated in it and found a pretty entry-level job at a fortune 500 company. Been here for 4 years, don't hate it, but just get tired of doing the same thing everyday without much purpose. Lately thinking I've got to make a move before I just settle.
Thinking about going to UNO for engineering, or Loyola Law School, or even nursing school. Really want a job with a title, like Lawyer, Engineer, or Nurse. Want a job with a purpose, instead of just office work, But then again I would do basically anything for the right price like a welder or skilled labor.
Any advice would be appreciated.

What's your email? We can arrange something a little more private.

FBI Special Agent. accounting, finance, foreign language, JD or computer science. I don't see how you'd ever pay back the cost of law school but they do hire lawyers. They typically hire folks in their late 20s.

So freshman classes were easy and senior classes were harder? That's not unique to ISDS. Anything you major in will have tougher senior classes than freshman classes.

You should definitely go to law school. That will get your career on the fast track, buddy.

This is the most ridiculous reason to go into any of these fields.
Why not get an MBA or even an MPH and move into an administrative role?

I know a lot of UNO guys that went back to school to get engineering degrees as postbac students. It seems like they are accommodating to that if you want to do it.
My only word of caution is that it's not easy and don't do it just to see if can hack it. That said it seems like most guys I know with engineering degrees have more stable jobs than those without one. It's a good degree to have.

Yeah, do more research on your career path before you register for classes.
You listed a pretty wide range of careers that require vastly different educational paths.

I wanted to do this. The lady I talked to there was extremely helpful and can steer you in the right direction as far as what classes you would need to take to enter the program if you are lacking pre requisites. Also UNO has cut back a ton on night classes for engineering and there is not a flexible class schedule. You will not be able to work a 9-5 every day and complete this degree. I graduated with a Bachelors in Finance so I was missing some of the pre reqs. It would have taken me a summer and 1 semester for all the pre reqs than another 2.5 yrs for the degree.
Luckily I got a great job offer a month before I was going to enroll in classes. Im happy now but was in some dire straits before the offer.

Welcome to the real world. Wait until you have a family, and have to work a job for money that you hate. You will be begging for boring.

UNO is not a joke. The classes demand a lot from you. Two semesters ago I was in engineering taking Calculus, every day of the week, Physics three days a week, and Physics Lab one night a week from 730 until 930. I also worked 40 hours a week. I finished with all Bs, but that was the hardest semester of school I have ever had. I had zero social life that semester.
