You need a cable login.

I listened to the games on LSU's radio subscription service and caught the free replays after. No need for cable. You can also go to a bar or restaurant or friends house.

I'd rather pay $160 a months for internet and every channel offered and a phone line, and watch whatever whenever in my own home with DVR.

You have fun counting pennies and having to bum content off other people.

STFU if you think any normal man is OK with this.

Can we subscribe to this without actually getting cable?

Breesus has been on a trolling spree lately. I highly doubt he believes anything he's typing right now.

Uverse guarantees your price for 2 years, but only requires you to stay for 1.

If you're really pinching pennies but desperate to watch all of your football, you can subscribe to Uverse from September through the following December. An idea.

I have Direct so I can't access WatchESPN either... all you have to do is find a friend w/ Cox or one of the other cable providers and use their login info.

If you buy an indoor antenna, the only NFL games you miss are on Thursday and Monday night. That is assuming you not comparing it to the Sunday Ticket.

I cut the cord about 4 months ago so I have experienced a lot of the ups and downs already.

It is pretty easy to entertain yourself, but Saturday sucked by only getting to watch the media darling games.

Probably spent $75 at the bar/restaurants this weekend hanging out and watching the games.

I guess though someone is stealing content and free loading on friends they have no problem nursing the same beer and skipping out on a tip. So it probably wouldn't be that expensive.

You would need or want:

- Antenna
- Rokus/AppleTVs - If you have MAC computers or use ITunes, get AppleTV. IF not, doesn't really matter, but Roku is cheaper and just as good
- Using someone's login for ESPN/HBOGo/ShowtimeNow, all of that stuff
- XBMC program either on a Raspberry Pi or your laptop and then stream to your TV
- For sports, I use the Wiziwig website right from the web browswer of my Smart TV and blu-ray player
- If you have a Samsung Smart TV and a Samsung phone, you can use screen mirroring as well to watch stuff if need be.

That is advocating stealing.

So, what I've learned from this thread is that LNCHBOX works for Comcast?

8 TVs? You will not get any good signal no matter what.

I'm waiting for Netflix+HBOGO+ESPN to team up when it comes to streaming. That would knock the cable companies back a few steps.
