I'm also clever and witty. And I don't pay for cable.

I'm failing to see how my post makes you think I missed your previous one. I thought you were clever and witty or some such nonsense?

Maybe I could give you my login credentials for wit.

Sorry you're slow...

Let me be more clear I give no cares about what an argumentative little turd (lnchbox) thinks.

Can we put a pin in this personal crusade against cord cutting?

Considering you responded to a post of mine that wasn't even a reply to you, it seems to be very clear you do care.

You are more than welcome to stop posting this thread now.

if there was any entity that people should be encouraged to "steal" from, it would be cable companies

Would I be really missing that much?

Football season. That's what.

But there is a semi cheaper solution:
1. You are apparently easy to sell shite to, because I pay under $200 for Cox and have everything minus the phone. So learn to haggle.

2. Cancel cable after football season. Cut the cord completely. I'm sure you can find some free wi-fi floating around your neighborhood. Roll the next 6 months without cable

3. Before football season starts (August), visit the COX store in the LSU Union. Why, because they rate their bills by location. People in CCL pay the most, LSU students pay the least. So if you sign up at LSU, you get the low student rate.

4. Haggle with them. "I don't know, that sounds like too much." or "I don't think I'll watch all those channels." They want your business. So they'll throw in 3-6 months of something for free, which is cool because you're going to cancel in 6 months anyway.

5. Alternate providers so they can compete with each other on price. "I only pay this and I get all that"
Most people can match price on services.

6. Enjoy the 6 months of no cable. It's a nice experience, and makes you get out the house.
