Things you did in high school that you would be expelled for now

The thread discussing the kid who was suspended from school because he went pellet gun shooting with his mom made me think about how different things were in my time & place.
I graduated hs in the 90s from an AL county school. (I learnt to reed their,)
I once took a compound bow to school and shot it for a class assignment based on giving a presentation. Hit the bullseye too, baw.
My truck very often had my hunting rifle or shotgun in it.
One baw whose truck wouldn’t lock worked it out with the office staff to keep his rifle in the office so that it wouldn’t get stolen
And we all carried knives.
Those were better days.

When I was in 7th grade if you didn’t have a lock blade knife and a Skoal ring on the back pocket of your jeans you might as well not even show up for school. We also had a game seeing how many girl’s bras we could pop in a day.

Late 90s, joking around with a friend of mine in English class I put a knife up to his throat. I did it in a joking manner and by no means was serious, teacher just laughed. We use to leave our hunting rifles in our trucks and nobody ever got in trouble. I remember many times people pulling guns out in parking lot showing them off or whatever

For a science experiment in 7th grade, I put gun powder in a ball of wax, added a fuse from a firework and lit it on school property. I had no idea what I was doing or what kind of explosion might occur. I don't think the teacher did either. Thankfully, it wasn't much.

I had a switchblade comb.
Wore a kilt to school on spirit day with electric bagpipes and someone reached under because they didn’t believe I didn’t have anything on under there and made me moon the class.
