Things that absolutely shouldn't bother you...but do anyway

I used to make this thread every few years or so, but haven't in a long time now. So I was thinking about another one that I had recently and wanted to start this thread to see what bugs the OT that shouldn't. And as always, to clarify, this is about things that SHOULD NOT piss you off but do anyway. So people coming here mentioning things like traffic, crime, Oweo, etc. should be swiftly kicked in the balls for not following directions. As a good rule of thumb, what you should say should bring in the downvotes, as most people aren't bothered by it at all (as evidenced by the votes in this OP).

Here are some of mine (some from the past and a newer one):

- Elevator chatter: I know it's just people being nice or being uncomfortable sitting in silence, but I can't stand when people feel like they have to speak on an elevator. shite like "It's cold outside today.." Yes, that's why we are all wearing jackets. Or my personal favorite "At least it's almost Friday" when it's like Wednesday afternoon. Can't we all just stand there in silence and make the ride?

- PM Dawn snap: For those that remember these threads, yes this still pisses me off. In the song I'd Die Without You by PM Dawn, there are snaps in the background. And every single one of them are aligned except for one. The snaps you hear at 3:28 in the video I just posted are off by a fraction of a second. And I've never understood why. While recording, were they snapping live the whole time and messed up on that one, and then just didn't feel like re-recording it correctly? Was it thrown in there on purpose to annoy people? I need answers. But every single time I hear that song it irrationally annoys me when I hear it.

- Grown men who use "lol": I don't know why this one bothers me so much, but it really does. Whenever I am on type or text, and I see another grown man type "lol" it drives me nuts. I guess in a weird way I feel like only teenage girls should be using it. It almost feels like a small piece of respect is removed when I see this happen. Sure, maybe I'm an a-hole for thinking that, but it's true.

- Overuse of the exclamation point!!!!!11: This one is self-explanatory, and should annoy everyone. But it doesn't seem to, which is why I can include it on this list. The exclamation point itself already succeeds in making a sentence more emphatic. There is no need to shove 5 or 10 more in there IMO.

ETA:

- Adulting: I absolutely can't stand people that use "adult" as a verb. Like "I've been adulting all day and just need a glass of wine!!!!!" I fricking hate that so, so much.
