People who talk about nothing to avoid silence. Unnecessary talking in general. Have a point or stop talking.

People who use "blessed" in casual conversation. I'm blessed. You're blessed. Have a blessed day....it's fricking weird.

The worst offenders of all within the greater grammatical punctuation world are the people that use ellipses at the end of a normal sentence, especially in text messages. I realize text messages are fairly informal and grammar isn't the highest of priorities, but this one really bothers me.

I definitely think this one meets the OP's criteria...

The fact that nobody in my company knows what CST means when scheduling meetings.

They will put "I'm available at 1:00 PM CST" even when we are on CDT (Daylight Time) like we are right now.

They even do it for company wide emails when announcing a company wide video meeting..... it's scary that apparently nobody in my company even knows how to tell time.

The sound of a utensil hitting a dish. The worst offender being a spoon in a bowl. I'll use Tupperware or a paper plate just to avoid this.

The sound of teeth dragging on a fork while eating.

Using the word "literally" but whatever they said didn't actually happen.

People who are way over the top positive and friendly all the time (not most the time or some times, but every single time you see them). There's nothing real about that.

People that sit at a stoplight waiting to turn right long enough to make the light turn red.

In just about every locality turning right on red is legal, just fricking TURN

People who respond “that’s funny” instead of just laughing

People who wrote like they talk. Long, drawn out, rambling etc

People whose hair does not blow in wind

People who hardly sweat in the worst heat conditions

Overly confident people who absolutely should not be

- Grown men who use "lol": I don't know why this one bothers me so much, but it really does. Whenever I am on type or text, and I see another grown man type "lol" it drives me nuts. I guess in a weird way I feel like only teenage girls should be using it. It almost feels like a small piece of respect is removed when I see this happen. Sure, maybe I'm an a-hole for thinking that, but it's true.

That is an odd one. I do it and it seems like almost everyone I text does it from time to time.

I'll add...

- People that cut you off when you're talking. Although this probably should annoy you

- When someone calls you boss, my man, my guy and bro when you're messaging them on marketplace. I swear every time I'm buying something off Facebook that's what people say. I'm like I'm just interested in this autographed basketball, you don't have to act like you're selling me a car by calling me my guy or boss man

- Social media posts of food or some ones feet with the beach/pool in the background. Congratulations, you had a nice meal or are at the pool.

- When you're playing golf and the other people like to keep the flag in the cup while putting. Come on guys, lets pull the flag, we look like we've never played golf before. I also dont want to doink a 5 footer off the flag and not make the putt because of it.

There are several grammar errors that mildly annoy me but the one that I have a hard time not calling people out on is when they said "I feel BADLY about it' instead of "I feel bad about it". It makes me want to scream.

PM Dawn snap: For those that remember these threads, yes this still pisses me off. In the song I'd Die Without You by PM Dawn, there are snaps in the background. And every single one of them are aligned except for one. The snaps you hear at 3:28 in the video I just posted are off by a fraction of a second. And I've never understood why. While recording, were they snapping live the whole time and messed up on that one, and then just didn't feel like re-recording it correctly? Was it thrown in there on purpose to annoy people? I need answers. But every single time I hear that song it irrationally annoys me when I hear it.

Are you referring to the one beat pause in the snaps at the start of the breakdown? That’s definitely intentional to create some space before resuming the snaps.

My biggest peeve these days is when people put way too much dressing on their salads. Like puddles. Sick stuff.
