Dan plays jazz trumpet. Jazz is gay.
Dots connected.

Yet I don't see marches against Islam or women flying en masse to the middle east. Funny isn't it.

They are gay/woke as hell.
There has always been a closeted gay choirboy undercurrent in the Baptist church. Now it’s out selling sandwiches.

Go use your eyes man. Have you not noticed the massive change in their branding strategy since then? Their commercials suddenly started looking like Apple commercials with the sterile backgrounds and quirky Reese’s pieces alphabet people giving short quips about how Chick Fil A changed their lives

Pretty sure those commercials have doubled down on emphasizing their whole thing about being the most caring company in the world. Not some drastic pivot in message from the past.
I don’t know Truett Cathy, but I don’t think he ever had a “Jesus hates them because…” vibe going.
If some of y’all have a perception that a company, in any industry is willing to market there products to and serve people you don’t agree with: 1) go find a company who only caters to people you agree with, and 2) report back here what you find

Touche. You are absolutely right they changed firms.
But if the new agency went woke under the recommendation of CFA, when did that happen? What ad campaign would you point to?
Is it the effeminate voices in an ad that did it?

I don’t really follow their commercials enough to know exactly when the shift happened. But there definitely was a shift from parachuting cows at a football game to a lispy guy with his hands folded in his lap like the commercial I saw last night.
I’ve already noticed this with traditionally conservative brands like NASCAR and Cracker Barrel. They are headquartered in places like Tennessee and North Carolina, but their advertising comes from Manhattan. Then they start making decisions in advertising which alienate their core consumer.

The DEI stuff has nothing to do with the lame advertising at CFA
But I agree the marketing campaign is awful right now

I dont really care if they have a gay guy doing a commercial as long as it is done the right way. I have no problem with this one. Now do it the bud lite way there's a big problem.

I don’t understand why corporations - particularly southern corporations with conservative grassroots - keep outsourcing advertising to Manhattan progressives.
That is probably because when you buy a lot of advertising, a firm outside of Madison Avenue Circles can only get you so far.
Once you join Don Draper class of advertising, you join the elitist club of companies.
