Texas seems to be the place to be, but that will get out of hand quick.

Surprised that Leander, Cedar Park and Liberty Hill aren’t on the list
Cedar Park is older and mostly built out so land and housing is more expensive. It's still growing but there aren't as many cookie-cutter, new construction subdivisions popping up like you see in the outer ring suburbs like Leander or Kyle.

I've done a lot of work for the city of Fulshear. That city is practically brand new. That's interesting to see.

Checked out fort mill, SC on google map, looks like a decent place.

South Carolina would be my choose, its not as hot as Louisiana... Its hot, I am not saying that.. Its just not AS hot, in general. Still in the South.

It’s not surprising that most LEGAL foreigners appreciate what the US has to offer, and they eventually make great Americans.

how much of that Texas growth is Californicators or immigrants?

That's what I was wondering...

I swear we have the last sliver of huntable land in the area at the rate Ronald Reagan is developing.

The HEB at 29 and RR is absolutely amazing.

These are just outer outer burbs prime for developing because they have bare land. All the good land was gone a long time ago. They also don’t have nearly enough infrastructure to support said development. Miss me with that.

Hmmmm....shocker that zero Louisiana cities are listed. Texas makes sense to me.

No more immigrants in Texas than there are in other states. Texas just ships them out of state. Not a bad plan.

Georgetown? Wow my grandparents farm was between Georgetown and Hutto. Georgetown was always where we went for lunch or shopping Austin was only for the weekends.
I like downtown Georgetown one of those classic square Texas downtown around a courthouse.
Used to have a one screen theater though last movie I saw there was Hear no Evil Speak no Evil had to be late 80s.

I’m not surprised about texas getting growth. They put their money toward improving the highways and bringing in businesses that attract people from all over the country and have done this for as long as I can remember. Many of my family members went there to work, my son included. People go to where the work is.

Interesting. I’m leaving Houston to Fulshear asap if rates drop below 5.

The power infrastructure thing needs to get figured out around Houston though.

Listing a bunch of suburbs as “fastest growing cities” seems dumb.

Nope they just build tollways now. We even have tollways inside/over/under existing freeways now.
