There's an ATM in Miami that has a "leaderboard" for the highest bank accounts

Which OT'ers will be flocking to Miami to get on that leaderboard?

Top of the "ATM Leaderboard" as of Saturday, the fair's last day, was a $9.5-million account balance, according to MSCHF. (A photo of the ATM's display screen, sent to CNN by the collective, shows a colorfully dressed couple alongside the seven-figure sum.)

Apparently it's a piece of "ART", so whoever uses it is aware that it's going to share their balance and photo.
So they are pretty dumb.

What's the point of this? To show criminals who to rob? Why the hell would someone ever use this ATM or why would an event planner contract to use this ATM?

People are just flat out stupid. Off the top of my head I immediately think of privacy regulation, compliance regulations, information security regulations. Too many people have no clue as to why privacy is to be protected.
