Baw, the panhandle of Florida isn't the part sticking out in the water (AKA the peninsula).

You're both right

Florida is just two panhandles fused together.

Saw it in Miami about a month ago, but it wasn’t that bad.

After you stop listening to the 'climate change' propagandists, remember that everything is a cycle and there are good years, bad years, and everything in between.

And remember that seaweed is an awesome fertilizer.

Yeah, it’s sargasm grass. Sometimes it hits Texas like that. Happens every year, just depends on the winter and when the sargasm surfaces and what the currents are doing at that time. Sometimes it’s unbearable on the coast here in TX, sometimes it flows to the Yucatán, sometimes the keys, etc.

It’s gonna cost the city of Miami $45 million to haul it away. This is by far the worst it’s ever been. It’s all over the Florida Keys as well

I've been back twice since the storms. It's recovering nicely. Wharfeside is lagging with Beach Bar and Joe's Rum Hut still closed but pretty much everything else is open for business.

People don't realize the devastation of Irma and Maria. Those were CAT5 direct hits. The mainland would still be recovering let alone an island with limited resources and manpower.

This is purely a guess. Deforestation causes increased erosion, which in turn causes an increased sediment load in the rivers which then gets dumped in to the ocean where it increases the growth of the grass.

I don't think deforestation is as much as a stretch as it sounds.
