There's a lot of hate on the various TD boards for women's sports.

No, I don't want to talk about Rapinoe. But the USA won the world championship in a game that is played by the entire world, and I am very happy about that.
If you don't like women's sports, don't watch. But why denigrate them? Why do you hate them so? Because women can't beat men, they aren't worth watching? Because their game is shite? Because they can't run and jump like a man?
I sincerely hope you people don't have daughters. Ever. And if you have one already, I feel sorry for her.

Womens sports are fine until you watch men play right after and then you're like why the hell was I watching that crap.

They were upset by some very vitriolic comments made by Rapinoe and other team members about President Trump, the American Flag, the National Anthem, and America in general. I think actively rooting against the Womens National Team is silly, but the players brought this kind of behavior on themselves by not just indulging in controversy but starting it, publicizing it, and making it all about themselves.

Womens Basketball is unwatchable.
Volleyball is awesome. And I like Softball better than baseball. The game moves so much faster and lasts 2 hours instead of 3-4.

I was a big fan of the Mia Hamm team because most of them were pretty, feminine, and loved America. This bunch, not so much.

Women's soccer is better than men's alot of times because of the reason you listed above. The men are so athletic that they can't score, the women's game is much more wide open.

I don’t watch much women sports but will occasionally watch college softball and basketball on tv, even sometimes go back home and watch ULM women’s basketball. The OT has a weird obsession about bashing it like all women athletes think they are as good as men even though probably only 1 or 2 out of every 5,000 female athletes think that, or just make a comment to rile people up. None of the women athletes I knew in college and HS thought they were better than men or even cared. They just enjoy playing the sport
ETA: The guys I see making fun of female athletes on FB are always the guys who never even played sports, I’m sure it’s the same here. As far as the crazy soccer girl, I disagree with her and think she’s an idiot, but her comments don’t effect me.

It's just not as fun to watch, it serves a purpose.
I dont mind the mma, its 1 on 1 and a match. Team sports feel less intriguing
