As a woman, gymnastics, diving and ice skating. Maybe beach volleyball for the aesthetics. And the pole championships, real artistry.

I don’t think that it is so much hate but rather resistance to having something for which one has complete ambivalence towards being forced down their throat while being told if one isn’t waving pom poms, they are an a-hole.
In this particular case, Soccer sucks. The only reason that Soccer is the globally dominant sport is because all that is required to play it is a ball of some sort, a little space of dirt, legs and a couple of sticks.
Add to that the Women’s team being ate up with showboating regarding politics and you get a lot of “frick offs.”
Is that clear enough for you, you whiney knight?

Men scored 167 goals last year
Women scored 146 goals this year.
The women's tournament has 8 less teams. The women usually score more goals per game than the men.

I understand that. Just because you score goals doesn't necessarily make it more exciting. Its the content of the game and quality that ultimately matters to me. Half the goals getting scored in the women's game would never have a shot in the mens side unfortunately.
That isn't to knock on the girls but its the truth
That said congratulations to the ladies for brining home the big trophy today. I follow a lot of female sports, have a lot of female athletes in my family. I have a lot of respect for what they do as well.

As a college football fan I have to be OK with this answer because guys who are bigger NFL fans say the skill and athleticism is much higher and the level of play is far more consistent across all teams. College football fans try to counter this particular argument saying the game is more wide open and the inconsistency makes the games more exciting.

womens sports are great, and those that are interesting get watched, but most are only watched if the outfits give you something to look at because the talent at the sport is far far below the lowest level of men in that same sport
