This particular women's squad is just not a likable group. I was not pulling against them but they are just kind of obnoxious.

I am always struck by the argument that women's sports are not the pinnacle of the game, most often by people that are rabid college sports fans. SEC football and ACC basketball are still a far cry from the pro level. I enjoy a lot of women's sports when there is good competition, international soccer, tennis, golf and many of the Olympic sports come to mind.

Just say you dislike the game, or the flow of the game with women playing it, and leave it at that. No need to denigrate the players.

Women's sports in general aren't that exciting or fun to watch.
Truth be told, the only time I find them interesting or exciting is if it's an international competition (World Cup, Olympics, etc...) and even then it's more about pride of country.
Then again, that could be said (for me) about most men's sports.

I don’t have to like the players to pull for Team USA (full disclosure I completely forgot about World Cup today but yea America). No one is forcing any of them to play for the US, and at least one has proven it’s about her own interests & self-promotion and is getting put down here like any male doing the same. Equality.
As for celebrations they were getting called out by other female players and then played victim and started pushing that they were being held to a double standard (by female peers??). I don’t know soccer etiquette, but the double standard whining was weak. If they were men they would be called out for being wimps and playing victim.
If Morgan looked like a dude or was a dude playing for the US men’s team she wouldn’t get any love on this board and would be making less endorsement money. Her swimsuit pics are only reason I can recall on my own that Morgan is one of her names (if last or first I can’t remember). I also remember Hope Solo. I can’t even recall the flag hater’s name unless I see it or any other US player’s name - male team or female team.
