Is there a way I can donate that's not through Facebook?

The link says GoFundMe but doesn't link to a GoFundMe page.

ETA: screw it, just made a burner Facebook and used that. I deal with so many deadbeat douchebags on a daily basis who don't want to grow up or work hard that seeing people donate to this shite gives me some hope. I'm glad people are supporting a motherfricker who wakes up, grabs his nuts, and handles his business like a champion. People like this and of course the babies through Angel Tree/Toys for Tots are what Christmas is about. Not buying the newest bullshite iPhone you'll toss in the garbage in 6 months (which ironically, this guy will then pick up from your curb with a smile on his face as part of his job).

To be honest he will probably be upset that people are doing this.

If he is dedicated enough to walk for miles to school and work this is probably the situation. He isn't expecting anyone to do anything for him. Maybe he had a tough period in his life or just wants to make a better life for himself.

I know people mean well and have the best intentions, but before people start gofundme pages in situations like this, they really should get that person's real story. As crazy as it sounds, there might be a reason why he walks for miles every day. If he is a prideful man, while I am sure he would appreciate the thought, it would likely embarrass him to have someone start a gofundmepage for him...

You seemed like a douchebag when we were at LSU and you've shown yourself to be pretty obnoxious on here, but this is an astute observation.

People like to virtue signal and be "altruistic" for selfish reasons, often without taking into account the mindset/feelings/reality of the person they're attempting to do well for. I sincerely hope this man doesn't feel one ounce of shame, everyone needs help at one point or another in life...but I too know what it's like to be a stubborn, prideful a-hole.

All we can do is make an honest attempt to put some good energy into the world. Maybe it has unintended consequences (e.g. embarrassing someone), but I can't fault people for doing a good, compassionate act if its for purely selfless reasons.

Thought about this as well.

- Maybe the quickest route he uses isn't bike friendly (shitty pavement, grassy terrain)
- Maybe he can't ride a bike (lacking the ability or possibly some physical disability)

A friend of mine has given him rides before and I am guessing no bike because it is safer to walk off the side of 190 in the uneven terrain than be near the road.

correct. He got hit on his bike a little over a year ago and it messed him up pretty bad and hes scared to ride a bike to work now.

Stories like this pop up from time to time and I feel for the guy. But get a bike or a motorcycle. I mean I get walking to work for a couple of weeks, but anyone that does more then a couple weeks has some screws loose. You can buy a moped for like $800. You can buy a bike for $50. Its a hell of a lot faster to take side roads on a bike then walk directly on a busy road. Worst case, you bike for aways then walk it a bit across a bridge or something.

Either way, to simply just walk a long ways for a long time takes...something missing.

There was a man in his sixties, that walked all over Dallas. They called him The Walking Man. He was jacked, and went around with no shirt in the summer. Spent a lot of time around Inwood and Lovers Lane.

Kaceyy needs to except the fact that he is not a boy and may not be excepting donations. Kaceyy also states on her go fund me that she wants to eat his car or something thereabouts. Kaceyy may need to except donations for an English course or three
