Anytime of year is a good time to grill as far as I’m concerned.

OT Ballers chase the sun. S is kind enough to be letting me use his beach house in Tahiti this winter.

That's as dumb as the people who only cook gumbo in the winter.

If I have a en'vie for some gumbo and it's not cold out, I just turn down the thermostat.

Yeah, the weather down here will start to get really nice after summer. The problem is, the fricking snowbirds will also start arriving in droves. No more walking in to a nice restaurant and getting a table.

Yep. Football and hunting season requires grilling.

100pct correct. Thank you.

As a kid there was nothing I hated more than people jabbering about back-to-school, fall, football, etc... We got 1 month left and I'm going to enjoy it.

I enjoy good college football, but start it October 1.

I thought this was going to be a thread about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We are entering the best time of year in the south. Summer is fine, but I look at it like a northerner looks at snow in winter. It's cool at first to get in to the pool and grill, but after a few weeks, you are just ready for weather that doesn't cause immediate sweat.

I much prefer grill in fall, spring, or even our mild arse winter.
